Ex RNLI 1924 Watson class Lifeboat ON689
The Manchester & Salford

Welcome to our Lifeboat Restoration website, we hope you like it! Our objective is to restore a beautiful old lifeboat ,involve students who can gain practical experience and when launched / completed use the  vessel for pleasure and do some  fund raising for charity (RNLI) . We hope to re-launch and commission her again in 2023 just before her 100 years Birthday.

The RNLI is an amazing organisation with the best people, equipment and boats. I am personally a huge fan the organisation.  Since starting the restoration I have met some really lovely people. It's this connection and the history that has given me the energy and passion to carry this project through. I'd especially like to say a huge thank you to the RNLI team at Douglas Isle of Man where the boat was stationed.
