Specifications:
Specifications and technical information on old English lifeboats is easier to get than you think. Detailed drawings, engineering specifications of material etc can all be obtained with a bit of detective work. I was able to obtain nearly every document and drawing that the builder S.E Saunders would have had to scratch build her from new which is a great help when restoring an old boat.

The most useful document of all was the original RNLI builders specification which details absolutely everything you need to actually build the boat from new!
