How we plan to use her!
Following the restoration and re-launch which we hope will be completed 2016/7
the M & S will start an active life with 3 main roles as follows:
1. She will be for pleasure use for all those involved in her long term rebuild and we
plan to re-visit all of her past stations plus get some long awaited pay back for all
the hard work over the years.
2. We will be joining lifeboat rallies and aiming to auction places on-board to raise
money for the RNLI.
3. We plan to get her commercially coded to Category 2 and operate her as a classic
sailing charter vessel bringing a quality historic sailing experience to the Irish sea,
wales and the west coast of Scotland. This will be used to fund her ongoing maintenance and upkeep.
