Fitting an 8 hp bow thruster
Fitting the tube for an 8hp bow thruster this weekend to my 91 year old Ex RNLI wooden lifeboat . A little scary cutting a 230 mm diameter elliptical hole but it all went really well. Just epoxying and motor / gearbox to fit now. No special tools need, just a brush-steel for the compass shaft, a block of wood, pencil, hole saw the same size as the brush steel a jig saw, spirit level and a round surform / rasp.
